The rooms at St Phillips Bed & Breakfast were cozy and comfortable, with a nice touch of homeliness. I loved the flat-screen TV in my room, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring Port Elizabeth. The en-suite bathroom was clean and well-equipped, with free toiletries provided. a great stay for a laid-back traveler like me.
Personally, I would have preferred a shower instead of the bathtub in the main house rooms. But hey, that's just my preference, I'm sure others would enjoy a relaxing soak after a busy day.

The charming Victorian house, with its stunning ocean views from the veranda, added to the nostalgic experience. We were lucky to get Room 1, right at the front, which offered a beautiful glimpse of Port Elizabeth. Being located in Richmond Hill meant we were just a short stroll away from the trendy restaurants and the vibrant atmosphere of Nelson Mandela Bay. The warm and professional staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
For dads, it would be great to have a small playground or play area for the children.

All in all good location, very close to shopping malls and the city centre and very good restaurants and the most wonderful branch of Vovotello's in a beautiful old house. Spacious room with coffee & tea and a variety of niche restaurants, as example. Superbly friendly staff and quick to respond.

The rooms at St Phillips Bed & Breakfast were cozy and comfortable. I loved the en-suite bathrooms and the flat-screen TV in the room. It was nice to relax in the seating area after a long day of exploring. The private bathrooms had both a bath tub and a shower, which was amazing.
Personally, I found the satellite channels on the TV in every room to be a bit limited. But hey, that's just my preference!

I had a great stay at a charming historic B&B. The location was perfect for my needs, and I loved the restored feel of the place. The staff was very helpful and made me feel welcome. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The secure parking was a bonus. There were a couple of minor drawbacks, like the lack of cupboard facilities and a full rubbish bin from the previous guest. However, overall I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for its affordable luxury.

The beautiful Victorian decoration of the hotel reminded me of a bygone era, with its elegant furnishings and charming details. It made me feel like I was in a different time and added to the overall ambiance of the place. The general areas, such as the garden and downstairs patio, were well-maintained and provided a peaceful retreat for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easy access to the rooms and comfortable seating areas throughout the property.
I would have liked to see more options for senior-friendly activities or amenities. Perhaps some board games or reading materials in the common areas would have been a nice touch to cater to older guests.
